Severn Valley Heritage Railway H&S Volunteer Vacancy

Severn Valley Heritage Railway Safety Department is looking to add to our volunteer H&S Team. Could you support our award-winning heritage railway which is a popular tourist attraction in Worcestershire and a regular location for features films and TV?

Duties:

Carry out site inspections on a diverse range of facilities from public houses to engineering works
Asking questions and recording the answers to establish compliance with legislation, good working practice and the SVR safety manual

Requirements:

NEBOSH General preferred
IOSH Managing Safety considered depending on experience
General awareness of H&S subjects and legislation
Good eye for detail and a healthy perception of hazard potential essential

Location: Site inspections to be carried out between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth
